Rules and Regulations
To maintain the lake and its surroundings to the highest standards, we ask all of our guests to kindly adhere to the below rules. We are grateful for your cooperation.
- A maximum of 3 rods per angler at any one time
- No braided mainline to be used.
- Tubing only.
- No lead core or Leaders of any kind (tubing only).
- Please do not leave rods unattended at any time.
- Micro barbed hooks only.
- Maximum hook size 4, minimum hook size 10.
- Carp clinic to be used on every fish and carried by all anglers.
- No sacking or retaining of fish at anytime.
- Minimum breaking strain of line to be 15lb.
- Landing nets to be a minimum of 42 inches and MUST be dry on arrival.
- Weigh slings, tripods and mats are provided, however damages are chargeable.
- No Nuts of any kind.
- Pellet and particle can only be used if purchased on site.
- Every carp must be weighed and photographed both sides to enable us to monitor the growth and condition of each fish
- All fish are to be lifted out of the water in the weigh sling, not the net.
- Any Carp over 45lb MUST be photographed in the water.
- Do not hold fish whilst standing, please hold them whilst kneeling
- Freezer baits only.
- No permanently fixed rigs are to be used
- Bait boats can be used
- Please use provided toilets at all times
- Please use bins provided to dispose of all rubbish and cigarette butts
- No fires to be lit
- BBQs to be used in the designated area only
- Please drink alcohol in moderation
- No guns or weapons to be brought to the lake
- No dogs allowed
- Swimming is not permitted in the lake
- Anyone found to not be following any of these rules will be removed from the premises
- Management do not accept liability for any loss, damage or injury etc. however caused
- The management reserve the right to add or amend these rules at anytime
